Found as I was trawling thr web for an elusive Leica 5x/0.5 objective.

Per the endnotes that 'lens 1x' is a Zeiss steReo discovery 1x plan objective, wd=80mm
I thought I had a frankenmacroscope but this thing is wild.
I know I've heard of people discussing using stereo ovjectives as tube lenses but never seen it until now. I wonder how big that image circle would be and how good results would be for photomacrographic work.
