Hallo Niels,

Just another thought, Robert has reported a Printing Nikkor 105/2.8 A to work excellently as a tube lens (perfect in the centre, slightly less so in the corners). Given the similarity between PN105 and the 8000ED lens that one may be an excellent tube lens as well..
