I purchased a slide from this seller a couple years ago, can you tell me 'exactly' which slide we're talking about?

I had already made arrangements with Chris_ma to get one, so I will join the club of "havers" even though I'm not on lothman's list.

This is going to be very good, not only for testing our lenses and objectives but also for fine-tuning our set-ups. We'll all know exactly how our results compare to anyone else's.

Lothar,

That is so kind and generous of you to do this, thanks so much!!

Although I'm not qualified as a lens expert, tester and evaluator I could use a common test chip/wafer to evaluate how my setup is doing and if improvements are in order, especially since I could compare against what the lens experts have.

If you have enough test chip/wafers and it's not too much extra trouble please include me for 1 test chip/wafer.

Again, thanks so much for helping.

Best,

Oops, I have that slide, sorry about that, so I don't need one. We discussed that slide here a long time ago, interesting it popped back up again. Just a heads up I purchased two of them back then and both were very dirty and one had smudges all over it. I noted that back in that old message thread here.

I would like to purchase one, is payment via paypal alright? I am in California.

Looks like I could use this as a SEM resolution slide. It is just a decapped IC right? Is it mounted on glass?

Please pm your paypal email or I can send to another member and pay for extra shipping, whatever is easiest for you.

Thanks!

Alright, got 2 on board. One of them wants 3 copies.
So mine +3+1, 5.
Since we have 20, there might be enough. If not, I'm happy to let go of the friend's 2 copies, leaving him with 1.

Thanks!

Does anyone know what this represents and/or how to read them?

the sample I ordered two weeks ago arrived, did a quick test.

pretty poor lighting setup and room for improvement, but here for what it's worth.

100percent center crop, M about 0.9x to 1x on a S1R with pixelshift, and single bayer pattern.
lightroom with 0 sharpening and 200% upres with photoshop CC 2020

couldn't upload it to the forum because a warning that even 350kb jpegs are over the file size limit, so here the dropbox links. best to download since dropbox compresses the previews, or otherwise watch them at 100% zoom:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/ofcb18qm28mwj ... p.png?dl=0

my take away:
for fine patterns pixel shift is a huge improvement, on simple structures the debayer works pretty well.[/img]

managed to upload a compressed version after all:

pixelshift:

bayer:

I should mention that the bayer image is from on of the 8 shots that make up the pixel shift image, so focus etc is completely identical.

pretty cool target, it doesn't fully cover fullframe on 1:1 though
