Thanks,
I ordered/payed and received 20 Wafer but accidentaly packed in 10 mailing boxes, so currently I'm waitung for 10 additional boxes before I can ship them individually.
I also taped the small Toshiba Chip beside the testwafer (easy removable if not used).
I also will add two microscope slides with 15x15mm pieces of sanding paper in grit sizes 120/220/400/800 and 1200/2000/2500/4000. The one or other might find this helpful to compare lenses or judge a homogenous behaviour of the test lens.
regards
Lothar

Thanks for your help Lothman, looking forward to getting the chips!
I found another candidate:
Here's what the thing looks like:
I'll get some panoramas up later. I'm not going to do another stack with my Z6 until the card reader comes. Having to transfer photos via USB-C makes me want to grind my radioactive lenses into sand and eat it.
I don't know what that last bit was supposed to mean...

Gentlemen,
everything is packed and will be shipped soon.
Just a suggestion for the next time, if you could provide a seller those infos together:
Forum_nickname
real name
address
this would help a lot, just took me an hour to figure everything out
regards
Lothar
P.S.: I'm curious what you think about the sanding paper
Edit
P.S.: All Chips are shipped

No idea where MacroCosmos sourced his but there are two for sale on eBay now for$100+. I'm used to paying something like $10 each...not $100+.Lou Jost wrote:Macro-cosmos, where does one get these?

The seller probably picked up an entire stack of these for $20, he's going to make a killing if he can get $100 each.
Best,
