SMART Board Image Sensor

Post by Bob-O-Rama »

The first generation SMART Boards were basically a special bezel / picture frame illuminated by IR LEDs. Small cameras on each corner detected the shadow of the pen transiting the IR lighting on the opposite parts of the frame.

The sensor itself is a little less than 1cm on a side.

These are very nice. What did you take them with?

Hi,

Pentax K-1 with pixel shift, Infinity Photo-Optical K2 Distamax long distance microscope, WeMacro rail, and one or two LED floods stripped of their diffusers.
