Mitutoyo price list - interesting facts.

Not sure if this been posted:

Some interesting pointers:
- Eyepieces with ENORMOUS FN30, never seen that big anywhere else. My comfort limit is already stretched on Zeiss FN23.
All objectives except 1x are designed to cover that FOV.
- APS-C ready Video Microscope Units available off the shelf (Nikon F mount)
- Seems that UV series are also good for VIS, but IR series are for IR only.
- G Plan Apo's are coverslip corrected... 3,5 mm thick.
- LCD Plan Apo's are 0,7mm or 1,1mm "coverslip" corrected.
- There are 4 DIC prisms available and they seem to be very flexible and NA related. My guess is that they all work with all objectives with 50x being most universal contast/resolution wise.
- There are finite objectives available with similar magnification and NA as infinites, but with MUCH MUCH MUCH greater and impressive working distances. Nothing about being "apo" or "plan" corrected. They beat Mp-E65 on WD. 5x with 61mm WD
1x, 3x, 5x are supposed to be telecentric.

Some are on ebay right now, but pricey:

Interesting. I see the 7.5x apo is much more expensive than either the 5x or 10x apo.

The HRs look the most interesting to me and of course they also cost the most.

The 7,5x 0.21 is downright cheap compared to a Rayfact 7x 0.35. I asked Rayfact twice and they told me the 7x was extremely expensive and would not quote me, the second time I asked they suggested the cheaper 5x for a cool $19,250.
