In my last freshwater sample I found two gelatinous egg masses, each with hundreds on eggs. Here's what the eggs looked like. Hopefully I'll get them when they hatch out. Each individual egg is about 415x125 microns in size.

Are the egg masses helicoidal?. If so I think they are of mayflies. You're going to see they hatching very soon
