Steeler Fan?

This insect was on a flower several weeks ago. I caputred him the night before our first frost. The colors suggest Pittsburg Steeler to me...

Lovely creature! This looks like one of the long-horned wood boring beetles, family Cerambycidae. I have no idea about the ID, any closer than family.

Thanks for the clue on the ID. Unfortunately the antenna were brittle and departed before I made a dorsal view.
