Dragonfly week! I must admit that they great! I wish I had a 400 mm to capture the bigger ones. They hardly ever take a rest:-)

This is an easier one for the beginners like me:)

Hmm, another one with the wings held forward of the body. Beautiful red color to it. All of the ones I ever see are gray or black. Beautiful shot. :D

I think this position is for cooling down. And if they hold them more horizontal is for heating up!

Beautiful picture & Dragonfly Wim. I always think that their wings are cocked and ready to fly when I see them like this.

I am not sure, Beetleman, If I wanted to be ready to fly away I would not lower my wings but put them in an upwards position! :)
