I have never seen one of these before Ken...Super find :wink: I wonder why the Last segment of the palps is oval flattened shape. It almost looks like a male spiders` palps

You know I thought the same thing about those palps Doug. :smt028 They look almost like the antennae on a Japanese Beetle, note I said almost. Anyway the first time I have seen one too and they are quite small. This guy can't be more than a half inch in length. Thanks Doug. :D

Thanks Rik :D You know I just accidentally happened to run across that link while further researching the crickets ID to make sure it was what was referenced by BugGuide. I thought it would be pretty neat to include it in the post. Thanks again Rik! :D
