I found this water mite in my hay infusion. Oblique illumination gave nice details:

Interesting side-on view Bernhard. I usually, if not always, find that I am looking down on these annoyingly fast moving creatures. Fortunately they do occasionally stop (I wonder what triggers action/inaction?) and give us a chance to get a shot in (or in your case 10 shots).
The almost 3D'ish results you've achieved in this pic are spectacularly detailed, providing quite different anatomical "information" to a brightfield image.
I haven't tried using oblique illumination yet but seeing some of the amazing images on this forum I'm becoming more and more interested.
