A couple of interesting fungi today, I think these first ones may be Galerina marginata, but I'm not remotely 100% sure!
And this one is strange, its lilac coloured and covered in sort of 'fluff', which is where the purply colour seems to come from. Nothing in my books looks quite like it. At the moment there's only one specimen I can see, although there is the base of another stem next to this, so I don't want to cut it up!
Any thoughts on IDs much appreciated!
Edited to change the second one to better picture, this one has had levels tweaks, and is a short stack of 5 images. I hope to get back to shoot this one again tomorrow.

I think you are right. The jizz is spot on including the fleshy semi-apical ring.lauriek wrote:A couple of interesting fungi today, I think these first ones may be Galerina marginata, but I'm not remotely 100% sure!
As to the second, cripes. Calocybe ionides is purple, but not floccose. If I remember I will have a think about this.

I think it is Cystolepiota bucknallii, which smells of coal gas apparently.
