Green Leafhopper stack

I think this is probably not a full adult but I could be wrong...

Stack of around 80 images, Nikon 10x objective, Bellows minimum extension. Stacked in Tufuse...

That small eye like structures (ocelli?) are very interesting on the top of its head. Are they compound as well as the big eyes?

Good spot, I have to admit I hadn't really noticed those. Not sure if they are oceli or not but they certainly appear to be compound whatever they are!

What are those things stuck on its hair? water from condensation after you froze it?

I think this specimen was dry by the time I shot this, I don't really know what that stuff is, just bits of microscopic junk/dust that somehow always manages to get onto specimens!!
