The sticky was awesome.
A few questions. Any instructions on making the variable controller for the Vivitar? How about the mouse/remote release?
I'm looking at purchasing a Canon 350d sometime in the future and already have many of the other items shown in Mr. Krebs's writeup... It'll be a huge leap from the PVC adapter i cobbled together for my anchient Canon FtQL.
Thanks for the help!
Ben

Ben...
Glad to hear the info might be useful to you. While I need to do some final editing there are a couple pages on my site that might be of some use. One deals with the control for the Vivitar 283, the other with the technique I use to make the camera parfocal with the eyepieces. (The parfocal procedure is simpler than the one outlined in the "sticky". I needed to change it because my current microscope has a fixed length trinocular tube. It is effective and easier.)
