minerals from Slovakia
Hello forum,
I have some photos of Slovakia´s minerals... so I share it, all minerals was mined on Slovakia, Spessartine is from China. Used EQ: Lomo 3,7x, Zeiss Semiplan 6,3x, GF Planachromat 12,5x + Sigma LSA, 2x flash, 18MP Canon APSC. Comments are welcomed. Thank you.

Very nice. I could make one suggestion though. In some of them, especially #1 and #3, the out-of-focus parts are disturbing. It would have been better to make the stack a little deeper, and/or add an apertuere and close it down the for the first (and perhaps also for the last) shots.

Lou thank you for suggestion. Now I see it too. My table is not so stable like should be. So is not easy to touch for machine during the stack. I have to think about it. Thank you.

Stacking software can correct small alignment errors caused by closing an iris, so maybe it would still work even with a shaky table?

Yes, I know that stacking softwares work with alignment errors. I have to think of something to use an external aperture without crushing effects

These are very nice, though I agree that the out of focus foreground on the metatorbernite is distracting.

Gentlemens, based on previous recommendations, I have started to work with an external aperture so that the foreground / background as not to be too disturbing. I did some experiments and tests and I think I did it. The first / last pictures was taken with the f5.6 lens closed.
