Nice image
Nice image Saul I presume it was a focus stack. It seems to have a glow or haze around the structure.

Ken, Robert , thank you for your comments.
Single photo does not have it
Yes, 154 photos, using PS . Glow left intentionally, without it picture looked flat.Robert Berdan wrote:Nice image Saul I presume it was a focus stack. It seems to have a glow or haze around the structure.

" a la Hoffman" extras were used with the condenser conversion insert set. Instead mirrored surfaces I used polarizing filters, what gave me ability to adjust their darkness with one more polarizing filter on the illuminator.
This is just general idea, I used other things together with this setup (will write separate post, results of this setup were very interesting).

Thanks, James !Smokedaddy wrote:Excellent image Saul. Stereo pair turned out very nice as well. I like the shadows in the shell pores, gives it a 3D look. Just to experiment, you should try inverting the image in PS. One of mine turned out interesting.
Tried ... And tried to combine inverted+original. Meh... maybe different photo
