Has anyone built a stacking controller using the plans ect. from the stackduino site https://www.stackduino.net/boards or ryleeisit site http://www.ryleeisitt.ca/articles/build ... controller. ?
I have tried the plans from ryleeisit but ran into some issues, which I think are just my board making and soldering skills.
I have also ordered some boards from the gerber files from the stackduino site. I am hoping I can do better with the pre made pcb's?

George, welcome to posting!
Rylee Isitt is a member of this forum, though I don't recall seeing posts from him in some time. When he first built and documented his stacking controller, he posted on it in the thread: How to build a focus stacking controller.
If you click on that thread, you will see a button labeled "email". If the email address in Rylee's forum account is current, this will let you contact him. Rylee is a very nice and helpful person, though I confess to not having spoken with him in quite a while.

Hi Chris,
I used Rylee Isitts and tried to build his controller. I changed the output to the camera to optoisolators and added two leds to indicate that the output to the camera is working. It worked fine during the breadboard stage but when I soldered everything up, my leds where on all the time. Also the remote control would not work,I even bought the remote control he used in the article. I can say with much certainty that the problems are from my soldering.
