Hi Gang

Found a portion of a Monarch Butterfly wing and thought I would play
around and get some scale shots.

The first two are shot with my 20x Mitty. Have not had the courage to buy
a 50x or 100x.

The last one shot with my 7.5x Mitty

Mike

I like the second one a lot -- nice and sharp, and a view that we don't see much.

Is that in its original colors, or converted to B/W?

Rik

Original colors.

I shot one of the small white patches on th outer edge of the upper/top
side of the wing.

I find the transition from dark to light fascinating.
