I don't have much to do here because now everything is completely dry and green grass / plants are long gone.. I did my last picture in early June.
Couple of day ago I couldn't believe my eyes when i saw this baby Empusa. It's 1,5cm wide and 2,5 cm tall.
To give you a sense of scale the support is the dry core of a daisy / marigold.
I did not know they reproduce twice in the same season because I photographed juvenile Empusa last March... perhaps this new generation is already the result of the March generation that has now grown into adulthood.

Thank you.
Yes it is alive. I had to do many corrections with Zerene.
it is a studio picture (a bracketing of around 30 pictures)
but it was returned to the very same plant where it was found the day next.

Carlos.. Thank you...
Chris.. it was near home ... no danger.
I don't even bother anymore to have a camera with me.. useless.. this is how it looks for me now...I just have a frame of green grass (with insects) from February to the end of May.. before this my last shot outside was June, 11th.

I asked a friend to mail me the picture he got with his mobile .. and he sent me the thumbnail.. not the picture.
Anyway you all can see it's smaller than a section of my finger (my hands are small) . Never saw before such a young one.
