Me also. Recently saw somebody's post, decided to try, handled pretty well transparent subjects. Maybe Rik will step in and explain what are best settings/workflow for transparent stuff in Zerene.Smokedaddy wrote:I haven't used Picolay for a while but when I did I was happy with the results. I didn't know it was capable of stereo.

These look great!
Shifts come either from experience or from the calculations at https://zerenesystems.com/cms/stacker/d ... wing_angle, and in either case I'll generally render at a range of shifts and then pick the one that I like the best.
Are there some aspects that you're particularly curious about? Have you tried this stack with Zerene and had trouble with it?

I generally use PMax, because depth map methods are more vulnerable to showing different features in the two images. For a richly-colored images like this I'd probably start with Options > Preferences > PMax Settings > Use All Color Channels In Decisions.Maybe Rik will step in and explain what are best settings/workflow for transparent stuff in Zerene.

No, this Zerene stereo stack (Chironomidae larvae) was OK, even from the 16 photos only (PMax mostly, with some DMap).
I have problems with salt slides (of course I'm doing some mistake...) :

(sorry for the link, do not know how to upload bigger size gif file)
Settings:
Multilayer 730Mb file, with all stacking versions - PS, Zerene, Picolay
