Nikon Rayfact OFM20119MN (PN95)

This is the newer and updated ecoglass version of the Printing-Nikkor lenses. This one is the Printing-Nikkor 95mm f/2.8, and it is optimised for both 2x and 1/2x. 2x is achieved through reverse mounting. Originally I thought it was 1/2x when mounted in reverse, consequently I was pushing a lens that's optimised for 1/2x to 2x which resulted in frankly abysmal image quality.

Adapted to the F-mount using a M45x0.75>M52x0.75 adapter, then a Thorlabs M52x0.75 to SM2 adapter. Used SM2 tubes to achieve 2x (slightly more than 2x since I didn't have the right tube combination).

Results were outstanding.

Yeah I'm liking it, it works exceptionally well. Corner-to-corner sharpness with no CA. I also have the 1x pn105, still need to get a proper adapter.

The 95PN is my go-to lens for 2x. I've found none better, and I've tried quite a few other options!
