Well this is my first stacked diatom with my PZO K3PhZ condenser and PhZ objective setup. Larger version available here;

Very nice and aesthetically pleasing. It is possible to get a rather similar phase effect with the Leitz Heine condenser, but I think this looks nicer. I'm surprised how good the resolution is considering the modest NA of the X10 objective and the inclusion of a phase ring. This must be quite a large diatom.

Thanks, especially for someone that doesn't thoroughly understand what they are doing. <g> This particular diatom is huge, in the neighborhood of 450 um in diameter. Here's another 1024 crop at 100 percent using the 20/0,4 PhZ objective.
