That's interesting, so it's tied on a bight? Not heard of that use before, nor is it mentioned in Ashley's or online: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Figure-eight_knot

I'd use a slipped overhand-on-bight in that situation.

For the last image, I'd call it a reef knot, as I used two hairs, what made the knotting somewhat simpler.
And I'd call it "Kreuzknoten" over here in Germany :).
