Wandering in forests - Monsoon 2017

After a long summer, monsoon made its presence in my area. That meant to wipe the dust of the camera,charge batteries and head to the local forest.

All very sharp and colorful.

Good job on flash diffusion anvancy. The light looks great.

Hi Robert.

Working on making and practicing light moulding techniques.

My aim this year is where-ever possible, the viewer should not get a hint that the flash is used.

I especially like the snail -- interesting subject, good light, and the polygonal bokeh works well in this one.

Thanks Rik.

Rain drops had accumulated on the lens. First I thought to wipe off the drops.But then decided to utilize them to my advantage.
I have also seen such clear shell for the first time.

For light, I am now using official Venus softboxes after fiddling with DIY options for the past year. They work beautiful if you know what you are doing.
