Hello everyone,

Yesterday I received two reverse - adapter (52mm and 77mm to CANON EF) and one lens-protector for the CANON EF.

Enclosed you will find some photos for the calculation of the magnification:

- CANON EOS 6D + CANON EF 17-40L Retro 17mm, 0.28m

- CANON EOS 6D + CANON EF 17-40L Retro 17mm, infinity

- CANON EOS 6D + CANON EF 17-40L Retro 28mm, 0.28m

- CANON EOS 6D + CANON EF 17-40L Retro 28mm, infinity

- CANON EOS 6D + CANON EF 17-40L Retro 40mm, 0.28m

- CANON EOS 6D + CANON EF 17-40L Retro 40mm, infinity

Magnification of the CANON EF 17-40L (with the smallest distance)
Focal length 17mm => taken 9mm => 4x
Focal length 28mm => taken 13mm => 2,7x
Focal length 40mm => taken 22mm => 1,6x

Magnification of the CANON EF 40
Focal length 40mm => taken 43mm => 0,8x

The magnification of the Pancake at 40 mm is smaller than EF 17-40 at 40mm.

BR, Adi
