If minerals is dirty with dust, i use a water spray with a little bit of vinegar, water after and air dryer. If mineral is not delicate.

I use ultrasonic cleaner

BW works fine as mitutoyo i suppose but less expensive ;)

I try objective from BW optics APO 5x 0.14. WD = 45 mm.

For moment just said, it's very good objective. It's more easy than APO componon with this WD.

Very constrated picture and very fine image.
