Hi there you good people,
This is from my fieldtrip this morning. I was in the field 4:15 AM, and it was so worth it.
I hope I´m not wrong about Robberfly ?
Canon and tripod. Natural light, no flash...

I like this image very much -- pleasing composition and colors.

One oddity, the EXIF data shows "Copyright: 2012". Does something in your image management workflow need updating?

Thanks for your kind words.
"Copyright 2012" is from my camera. I use the Canon 7D and it´s manually entered in from the menu. Forgot to change it. Thanks for letting me know.

I'm with Carmen & Rik: nice image Harald! The subject is not a robber fly though, but a snipe fly (Rhagionidae) -- and likely a species of the genus Rhagio.
