Those new to Photomicrography I have posted an article with tips on how to take better pictures with your microscope here:

Attached 2 photos below as samples 1) Turtle Rotifer Testinealla patina and 2) Paramecium caudatum - The photos below are with DIC, but I cover all types of lighting phase contrast, darkfield etc.
