Re: how to save a rocking set
There is no option to save the sequence as a single rocking image.
Zerene Stacker only generates the off-axis views.
To assemble them into a rocking GIF, the images must be saved out of Zerene Stacker as JPEG or TIFF, then run through some other software to crop, resize, adjust levels and color balance, sharpen, and do all those other usual finishing operations, before finally saving the collection as some sort of looping image.
At https://zerenesystems.com/cms/stacker/docs/syntheticstereo , this is described as
These days I generally use the Timeline animation in Photoshop and then File > Export > Save for Web (Legacy).

I see that I need to update that description. QuickTime Player Pro seems to be no longer available, even for Mac.Animated GIF images for rocking displays can be generated by programs such as Adobe’s ImageReady and the free GIMP software (http://www.gimp.org/). It can also be done with regular Adobe Photoshop, using Timeline animation as described at https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/how-to/make-animated-gif.html . Longer sequences can be generated as looping movies, by programs such as Apple’s QuickTime Player Pro (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/pro/, for Macintosh or Windows).
