Infinity Lens on Smart Phone

Post by Sym P. le »

The Schneider Variogon technology that lit Super 8 video recording used an infinity lens behind the split glass (which shunts an image to the view finder). I had great success with one on my Canon G11 and now have one that clips onto my phone. With the G11, it was like going fishing. I never knew what I would catch but there was always a prize. With the phone it is far more challenging but great for exploring. The phone camera sensor is clearly challenged though it tries hard.
