New stack shot machine

Post by kutilka »

My latest macro machine for my fellow macro photographer.
The ISEL linear slide actuator is used as a basis, which is a discarded linear feed of NC machines.
It has precise guidance on ball bearings. However, a manual Novoflex feed with a micrometer screw is used.
Weight approx. 15kg, good stability.

Looks amazingly solid!

If you could have put that black knob "Hruby possuv rampi 1" on the other end of the rail, or done without it, you could have a machine that could be flipped 90 degrees when needed for vertical work, such as when photographing through liquids.

A colleague sent me a picture of the whole set.
