D PLAN and S PLAN Apo objectives

Post by MacroB »

Hello Everyone,

Have been using them for a while now but would appreciate if someone could explain what the D in D Plan objective and S in S Plan Apochromatic mean.

I did do a search and understand the PLAN and the Apo but could not find what the D and S stood for.

Best wishes for Christmas.
Bob

S indicates superwide, FN 26.5.

I don't know what D indicates.

Thanks Alan,

It's great to know where to find all that info you have put together on Olypus objectives.

Regards,
Bob
