Frank Lake Birding Hotpsot and good for pond organisms

Post by Robert Berdan »

Hi I live in Alberta - one of my favourite locations for bird photography is Frank Lake about 50 Km south of Calgary, AB. I went there recently to collect pond samples for photomicrography, but as I am also a nature photographer I also photographed the birds. There is a blind and the lake is easily accessible. If you are coming to Calgary and you are interested in birds check out my recent article with bird photos. On adjacent articles you can see some of my pictures taken with a microscope of the microorganisms living in the water like Daphnia.
