Micro presentation

Post by CarlosHermosilla »

Hello my name is Carlos; I have read some topics on the forum and they are much more than interesting, both technically and artistically; and also I see that there are authentic specialists in various domains of the study of nature. I am a photographer and I live in Spain, Miranda de Ebro, I don't speak English, I understand something and I use the automatic translator. In my spare time I study some mushrooms and also wild orchids from my country and a few insects. Although I like many old and modern photography techniques I have always liked macro photography, the first lens I had (and for many years I had no money to buy another one) was a MicroNikkor 55mm f 2.8 that I still have, but that was in the 80s of the last century.

I have some samples, some very old on Flickr https://www.flickr.com/gp/26925527@N07/AcC603RY28 https://www.flickr.com/gp/26925527@N07/Fy874P2G3S and on Instagram https:// instagram.com/bestiolae_delineatum?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

Gracias

Lovely orchids! You are so lucky to have access to those wonderful genera.

That old Nikon macro lens is still an excellent choice...

Carlos, welcome to the forum! :D

I like your photographic work. Thanks for sharing!

Those old Nikkor "micro" lenses continue to perform well, don't they? You might also like one of the 105mm micro-Nikkors, some of which have gotten ridiculously cheap on the used market.
