Hello from Bavaria (Germany)

Post by Nikonudo »

Hello from Bavaria (Germany),

I would like to thank you for being included in this forum. Unfortunately, I can not speak English. I translate everything with google and I hope they do it right!

My interest in macro and microphotography had actually been around since I was 14 years old. Visited at that time
I happened to take a course for pupils on the subject of "botany microscopy". That was the start, so to speak.
I came to microphotography through a book by Gerhart Zimmert from Vienna. I found the subject very interesting.
I then bought a used macroscope. Was a mistake, because with this macroscope, a Wild M420
you can't take photos of what I imagined. Now I've got myself a new microscope, with
where I can photograph what I always wanted to do. It is a used Olympus reflected light microscope
BH series with a photo adaptation for Nikon F cameras. Right: I don't really have a clue about anything but at least I have
a microscope and a camera for it. Meanwhile I also have a transmitted light microscope with polarization and a UV microscope, as well as a thin section system from System Abele for my new hobby "thin sections". I'll show you my photos at random and look forward to comments and criticism, if necessary.

Remains singing Udo

Bleibt Gesund Udo

Nikonudo, welcome to the forum!

The translation by Google seems very understandable. Only the closing, "Remains singing", seems odd. For me, Google Translate turns "Bleibt Gesund" into "Stay healthy", which makes a lot more sense. I do a lot of work through Google Translate, so maybe I can offer one hint about how to use it. After Google Translate turns German into English, ask Translate to turn that English back into German. If the result does not sound right, then change your words a little and try again. This process can still make mistakes, but it's better than just trusting that the translator will do a correct job on the first try.

I did this to make the German translation below. It took about 10 tries before I was happy. But I do not speak German, so you will have to tell me if the result seems good.
