FYI.
I'm not involved in sale, just trying to help.
Tested the Mitutoyo M PLAN APO HR 5x 0.21 in 2021 and it was one of the highest performance lenses we've never tested.
Just superb, awesome IQ, with a big broad image circle even larger than the 0.14 5x.

With regard to the Nikon, do the marks on the segments give insight into whether the lens has been disassembled, and, potentially, misaligned on reassembly?

Hi Robert,
Thanks very much for the info! This is another copy of 5xHR, but it looks like both perform similarly.

Marks are normal on all the 100mm Scanner Nikkor lenses I've seen. The cells are glued in place after each lens is tuned at the factory.Doppler9000 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 02, 2023 9:47 amWith regard to the Nikon, do the marks on the segments give insight into whether the lens has been disassembled, and, potentially, misaligned on reassembly?
