FS: Olympus LUCPlanFL N 20X and 40X

Post by jnh »

Have two surplus Olympus objectives (both UIS2 with RMS thread)
Olympus LUCPlanFL N 20X/0.45, inf/0-2/FN22 $600
Olympus LUCPlanFL N 40X/0.60, inf/0-2/FN22 $1000
They are in very good condition with clean barrels and clean glass. They did well in fluorescence applications, but can't say anything about their brightfield performance (can be returned for full refund, if not to the buyers liking).

You should probably mention their working distance, which I believe are 7.8 and 1.8mm respectively at the 0 cover slip setting.

Thanks for pointing that out. From the limited information I found online, the working distances are as follows:
20x: 6.4 mm - 7.6 mm
40x: 2.7 mm - 4 mm (another source put it at 3.0 mm - 4.2 mm)

You're right, looks like I got the wrong number on the 40x. Point being these are fairly workable working distances.
