Interested in Chemicals?

Post by pwnell »

I have some chemicals I used for making crystals to photograph under different lighting techniques. If anyone local is interested (Delta, BC, Canada), you are welcome to collect. No charge. They all expired but I am sure they can still form crystals just fine.

Sodium Borate 500g powder
Potassium Nitrate 800g powder
Sodium Citrate 500g powder
Tannic Acid 100g powder
EDTA 100g powder
Benzoic Acid 500g powder
Potassium Phosphate 800g powder
Potassium Sulfate 800g powder
Urea 500g powder
Citric Acid 500g powder
Potassium ferricyanide 60ml
Sodium nitrate 60ml
Ammonium phosphate monobasic solution 60ml
Potassium chromate 60ml
Copper sulfate 69ml
Ascorbic acid 100g powder

Interesting collection. But they came with expiration dates? Most of them are inorganic chemicals that in dry pure form, will last for centuries.

BTW, tartaric acid is another easy to get non-toxic chemical that crystalizes nicely. Its salts can make nice crystals too.

Seems like my local high school was eager to take it off my hands.
