Post by lothman »

Hi,
this 14 Element Nikon Scanner lens decribed from Robert OToole on his webpage is waiting for beeing used. I would like to exchange it against Laowa 100mm 2:1 macro lens in Sony FE-Mount.

If anybody is interested please contact me or make me an offer for the scanner lens. I will ship worldwide and paying could be done via PayPal.

regards
Lothar

that would leave me less than 40$ after shipping and Paypal charging, sorry that is no option.

That is the 14 element lens from large format scanner not the 7 element version.

Even $300 would be a very good deal. These are rare lenses that are typically scavenged from non-functional old high-end Nikon Coolscan medium format scanners, which are themselves hard to find. They are nearly apochromatic and have a large image circle, and have about 7 ED glass elements, far more than any consumer macro lens.

Yes, $300 is still a very good price. Several have sold for $450, and some remain at that price on eBay, so that is probably close to the supply-demand equilibrium point right now. Even that is pretty good considering the optical quality of these lenses, compared to a $450 consumer lens...

I'm pretty happy with my $100 Minolta 5400 lens, though 8)
