You know I have been too scared to read new posts from this thread (or even scared to see it is being bumped), but I am very glad to hear good news.

Well said, Peter. Our friend may not yet be out of the woods, but he's doing well so far and seems headed in the right direction. May all good things continue for Robert.

And when he's able to read this thread: Robert, we're all pulling for you, amigo!

Robert is now home, he's out of that particular wood.
His wife's Facebook page relates a tale where things were close to being very different, even with the hospital 2 minutes away.

"We still have quite a recovery period in front of us - long way involving a lot!"

All strength to them both.

Wow and I was just corresponding with Robert. He has been extremely helpful via our private emails for the last couple of years we have corresponded as well as a mentor. His contributions, enthusiasm, patience and generosity are truely astounding.
