Veritasium talks about spherical aberration in electron microscopy

Post by rjlittlefield »

Veritasium dropped a new video on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88bMVbx1dzM , "What if you just keep zooming in?"

Most of the technical content has to do with a nearly unsolvable problem of spherical aberration in electromagnetic lensing. "Nearly" is the key word.

Much of this material was new to me.

I also found that interesting. It's a great channel for a wide range of mostly physics topics.

The arrangement of atoms looks similar to the eye of a moth im trying to image. Interesting video.
