Long time no cactus?

Post by DaveW »

Haven't had any cacti for a while on Photomacrography, but they are just starting flowering in my greenhouse, also not many insects around today to photograph.

Mammillaria estabanensis.

Most of mine came through in a cold greenhouse that dropped well below freezing. Here's an Echinocereus knippelianus flowering in a 3" square pot.

Lovely photos. *Sits on hands to avoid making any 'sharp' or 'point' puns* :D

Beautiful Unfortunately I lost my greenhouse the previous winter and was left with just an impromptu box with plastic cover, which unfortunately provided insuficient protection for all but one cactus, an Echinopsis!
