Leafhopper or Froghopper of some sort...

The subject is around 5-6mm long. I think the first was shot with Nikon 10x CF plan objective on OM bellows at minimum extension, the latter with reversed OM50 on bellows at max extension. stacks of around 80 and 18 images aligned in CZP and stacked with tufuse pro.

In case any hawkeyes out there are wondering, yes the subject lost an antennae and it was cloned in from the other side on both shots...

Great images laurie. I saw that clone right away, it sticks out like a sore thumb (American saying) (only kidding, I would have never seen it if you did not say anything :wink: ) A very interesting face!

Very nice images of a subject I have found interesting for many decades. The variety of colors has always kept me interested in seeng the next new subject. I have photographed a few but was not happy with the results. Good work.
