Elaeagnus, Im not sure but maybe its Elaeagnus x ebbingei. I read the fruits are eatable but I haven't tried them. The leaves and fruits had a white scaley texture so I took a closer look.
Leaves and fruit surface are "Chartaceous", peltate scales are a type of plant scale that have a shield-like shape and are attached to the plant surface with a broad base.

Commonly called oleaster. My dad has a goumi tree in the same genus which has tart cherry-like fruit, very tasty when it decides to produce. Beautiful photos, I have never looked this closely at one!

A close relative of this is naturalized in my area as the "Russian olive".

Russian olive, E. angustifolia, is considered an invasive exotic. We were making an effort to remove them from refuge lands. They may have been introduced as a wildlife food plant, like many others that became invasive. I also think Elaeagnus x ebbingei is also becoming invasive, I’m seeing is spread.
