Dandelion

Post by Marcepstein »

I was thinking of a way to photograph the common Dandelion (Taraxacum spp) that would be most interesting. This is what I came up with and were taken with the Canon 1DM1v and MP-E65mm f/2.8 1-5x Macro except the 2nd one was taken a few years ago on a Canon 1D Mark IIn and ef 100mm f2.8 macro lens. Thanks for looking!

I'll echo everyone else's compliments. I like the third photo in particular.

I like the colors on #2+3 but what happened to 4+5?

Yes, I noticed that too and am not sure. These were taken in manual mode using Canon flashes. It may have been the lighting difference and magnification that changed them. Many times I don’t see the picture until I see the picture . So I agree, and always try to improve on the next go around. Thanks for commenting!
