Nuthin' special. Robber fly (possibly Machimus delusus female). I found an old LED light panel to use as a background and as the images progressed, the panel gradually faded. So...

Tarsi, 12x, 136 steps at 10µm. Zeiss 10x with Sigma 70~300mm (300mm) and Canon 30D.

Now I remember why I tossed it to the side, wonky/poor Chinese build/quality. I bought it originally as a focusing aid for high magnification.

Me too, regarding the special stuff. I consider my macro average or just a smidgeon just above. But I am gradually getting better each decade.
