In terms of chip photography, memory tends to be the most boring in that its just a zillion of the same thing, and often the pattern is so fine it just looks like a sheet of gold leaf. In this sort of botched reflected darkfield at about 3x, you can see there is a lot of structure to it that's not really apparent.
But there were a couple fun bits in the margins of this IDT ( I think a static RAM ) from a network switch.
The above is at about 40x on FF, so about a half mm wide FoV.
