Leaf Hopper Various
As usual, nuthin' fancy. I found this leaf hopper from a sweep last summer.
Leaf Hopper face, 5x, 31 steps at 75µm.
Leaf hopper rear legs at 5x, 64 steps at 80µm. The next images are of the right rear leg.
Tarsi at 10x, 77 steps at 10µm. Hhmmm, missed near focus.
Tarsi at 12x, 101 steps at 10µm. Darn, missed near focus again...-

Re: Leaf Hopper Various
Nice images. Don’t put yourself down. Its still a really nice series. Maybe decrease the backlash amount. Then what do i know, i always miss the far focus…
Re: Leaf Hopper Various
Perhaps I missed it (New to forum), what equipment are you using?
Re: Leaf Hopper Various
Inside the house for stacking I use:
Canon 5D MK IV with the Canon MPE 65mm for images up to 5x,
Canon 30D with Zeiss 10x infinite microscope objective fitted to either a broken Canon 55-200mm or a Sigma 75-300mm lens as a relay which gives me 8x at 200mm, 10x at 250mm and 12x at 300mm,
Canon 580 EX II's (three) fitted to Pyle microphone stands with Godox PB960 battery packs/Godox receivers (sometimes with 6"x8" Neewer softboxes or home made light tent) and Impact Super Clamps as needed,
Godox V860 II (one) as a background light if I remember to turn it on which isn't very often.
Wemacro rail.
I keep it very simple, I do not have a lot of space. Everything can be moved out of the way if needed.
Outside macro is a different ball game. Hope this helps. Softboxed flash on microphone stand with battery pack. One with super clamp.
