Lion's Mane Mushroom

Post by Marcepstein »

Here are several stacks of a Lion's Mane Mushroom (Hericium erinaceus). All were taken with a Canon ef 100mm 2.8 macro and extention tubes. Post processing used different contract adjustments.

I believe I've seen these, but never so nicely presented! Well done.

Thanks, this is a first for me too. I have read that they are a great health food.

These are some nice photos. 8) I have seen several of these fungi here in the mountains of Western North Carolina. I don't imagine however, that I would entertain having them on my pizza or garden salad. :)
