The antenna is spectacular! What objective for that one?

Hi Rik,
It was a deep stack with a thick diffuser:
EOS-M6M2, DCR-150, MITU-10X, 2s, 622*(DOF/3), LED

Ahh, now I notice that the sequence starts with "Mitu-2x" and still shows only part of the body.

It seems this is a very large fly!

What is the total length of this beast, antennae to posterior?

Hi Rik,
The fly is about 12 mm long.
The head is slightly larger than 4mm
and the antenna is slightly smaller than 2mm.

Excellent set, as usual.

Likely misplaced at the Nature forum, I think that it belongs to Technical and Studio Photography -- Macro and Close-up.

I plan to move it if you agree
